Sheriff's Emergency Vehicle Operations Training
EVOC Vehicle

The Sheriff's Department operates an Emergency Vehicle Operation Center on the Crows Landing Airfield. The track is well over 20 acres and has over a mile of specifically designed track for public safety training. All recruits in the Sheriff's Academy must complete EVOC prior to graduation, and all active officers are required to attend 8 hours of EVOC training every two years.

The Sheriff's Regional Training Center hosts update courses on a regular basis. For information on upcoming EVOC courses, please email Mike Cook (EVOC Coordinator).
