Course Description
Advanced Communications Techniques for First Responders is the follow-up course to the Desmond & Louis Public Information Officer (PIO) Training Program.
This intensive one-day course is designed to provide first responders with advanced knowledge and practical skills for interacting with and responding to the media on-camera. Smaller class sizes allow for individualized instruction and hands-on practice through realistic mock interview scenarios. Training is conducted by veteran broadcast journalist and media relations professional Lou Desmond.
